This illustration was created for the cover of the Prague Generali company magazine by Vilém Rotter, graphic designer and founder of the most important pre-war advertising studio in Prague.

During the Fifties, he was repeatedly referred to in the British press as one of the most influential designers in Britain.

The image of the lighthouse featured on the cover of the magazine from 1936 to 1938, when publication was probably discontinued.
